About Us
Avery Flame Candle Co. is a women-owned and operated artisan candle studio. We are located in the heart of the forest in Northwest Michigan, a small town called Fife Lake. All of the products we offer are hand crafted in small batches. Our candles are created with clean burning, 100% soy wax, farmed and sourced in the USA. We use quality fragrance oils that are phthalate and toxin free. Most are even skin safe! Any dyes used are free of harmful chemicals and are eco-friendly. We also use recycled and sustainable shipping materials.
Our Story
Candle making has been a long-time hobby for this mother-daughter team. We started out making candles for ourselves, using quality ingredients and scents that the malls and big box stores did not offer. Once family and friends fell in love with the products that we gifted to them, it quickly became obvious that this was an opportunity to apply our entrepreneurial spirit and professional experience to launch Avery Flame Candle Co.
Our products are made in small batches in the kitchen, where we spend a lot of time anyway, since we love to cook and bake. It is not uncommon to find us logged onto our laptops, finishing a college exam or finalizing last month's financial reports for work while wax cools and dinner bakes. The Bluetooth speaker is playing, and there are deer in the yard. Northern Michigan is truly a wonder.
